Laatste update op 8 May 2020

After my trip of ten days in Venice in September 2012, I did not succeed in attending to the material I gathered.

After those ten days, I was literaturally dizzy. Dizzy of all the impressions, the sloshing water, the moving boats, wobbling pontons, vibrating buildings with their not quite smooth floors. I felt I was swaying to and fro like the city herself. Fatigue struck after my walks, views, sight-seeings and museum visits. I ate delicious food, examined all vaporetto-routes, experienced a lot of nice things. In addition I gathered al lot of ideas and material to work on and to share.

However, there are many things for which I did not find the time at all. For example, the San Marc Basilic is stille awaiting a visit from me after 4 times I visited Venice. Other examples are Chiesa Santa Madonna dell’Orto, the Redentore op Giudecca and Chiesa San Sebastiano.
