(Nederlands) Ode aan de gondelier

If you think of Venice, you will probably visualise canals and gondolieres. After enjoying several gondola rides I still find it a delight to boat away over the canals. The fun part is that every gondoliere has his own style. They are all nice.

Gondolieres pamper their customers, helping them aboard properly and telling them things about the history of buildings you see. He drinks the Pinot Grigio or Prosecco along if you ask him and takes good care not to bump into anything. A couple of pictures.
